We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide support to attorney business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents including Motions and other Pleadings
- Assistance with trial preparation
- Record and store client information
- Electronic filing with State and Federal Courts
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with MS Word, Adobe, and Outlook
- Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant or other legal field
- Familiarity with law office - focusing primarily on criminal law and family law
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Answer phones when needed
