Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in Tacoma, Washington. This position involves providing radiation treatment for adult and pediatric patients, with a focus on outpatient care. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment. The role primarily follows a Monday through Friday day shift.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with no holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Washington State License, Basic Life Support (BLS), ARRT Certification, with 1 year of experience. No minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Varian TrueBeam, SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy), DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold), IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy), IGRT (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy), HDR (High Dose Rate) and HyperArc experience, patient monitoring skills, and the ability to accurately interpret treatment plans.

  • Support on the Unit: CNA, Receptionist/HUC, Charge Nurse, Phlebotomy, IV/VAT Team, Resource Nurse, RT Hospitalist, Telemetry Monitoring
  • Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC/Aria, IV Pumps, 2 LINACs (Clinacix Truebeam)

  • RTO (Request for Time Off): Up to 7 days approved; additional days may be requested.
  • Scrub Color: Any color or business casual with lab coat.
  • Parking: Close to the hospital and free.
