Maintenance Mechanic I or II

Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Maintenance Department in the role of Maintenance Tech I or II. This position is 1.0 (40 hours per week) and will work Monday-Friday, days with an on-call rotation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides a comfortable environment, 24 hours per day, for patients, visitors, medical staff and employees. Such provision must be in compliance with JCAHO Standards, local, state and federal regulations. The environment includes all structures and the grounds surrounding them.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

Maintenance I:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diversified background of maintenance skill with technical training
• Technical training focusing on heating systems, ventilating systems, air conditioning systems, plumbing, electricity, pneumatics and components of the various systems
• Experience should include having worked with or have an understanding of heating systems, ventilating systems, air conditioning systems, plumbing, electricity, pneumatics and components of the various systems
• General interior and exterior building maintenance

Maintenance Tech II:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of diversified background of maintenance skill with technical training
• Healthcare maintenance experience highly preferred
• Technical training focusing on heating systems, ventilating systems, air conditioning systems, plumbing, electricity, pneumatics and components of the various systems
• Experience should include having worked with or have an understanding of heating systems, ventilating systems, air conditioning systems, plumbing, electricity, pneumatics and components of the various systems
• General interior and exterior building maintenance

Shift: Monday-Friday, days, on call rotation

FTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
