Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist – Electrophysiology Tech position in Olathe, Kansas. Travel assignment starting November 1, 2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,956 to $3,169. Shift is 10-hour daytime hours on a Monday–Friday schedule with one midweek day off, with potential to stay late to finish cases. Work setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital performing electrophysiology procedures in the EP Lab.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the electrophysiology lab and provide scrub, circulator, and equipment support for EP procedures (including pacemaker/ICD/Micra implants, ablations for Afib/AFlutter/WPW/SVT/VT/PVC, Watchman devices, laser lead extractions, and stimulation cases)
- Maintain sterile technique, assist physicians and EP team members, and document procedure details in the patient’s records
- Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment and imaging systems; monitor patient status during procedures
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure patient safety, quality of care, and efficient case flow
- Assist with equipment turnover, inventory management, and preparation for subsequent cases
- Complete credentialing and all required documentation to support timely start and ongoing competency in the EP lab

Requirements
- Active ARRT or RCIS or RCES certification; ACLS and BLS
- Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience; hands-on experience with pacemakers (PPM, ICD, Micra), ablations (Afib, AFlutter, WPW, SVT, VT, PVC), Watchman devices, laser lead extractions, and stimulation
- Experience preferred in Cath/IR and EP settings; willing to consider RNs with Cath/IR/EP scrub experience
- Credentialing must meet CBC, DS, and laboratory requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance; credential due date is typically the Monday one week prior to start
- Ability to work in a fast-paced EP lab environment and to travel to and work in Olathe, KS
