Role Description The Human Resources Director is a full-time, on-site role located in Surprise, AZ, responsible for overseeing all HR operations and initiatives across the organization. This role manages the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values and compliance with applicable laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading employee relations efforts, guiding performance management processes, and supporting leaders with coaching and workforce planning. The Human Resources Director will oversee recruitment and onboarding, manage benefits and compensation practices in partnership with leadership, and maintain accurate HR records and reporting. This role also collaborates with management to design training programs, strengthen workplace culture, and support employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Human Resources (HR) leadership, including developing and implementing HR strategies and managing HR operations.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies, procedures, and compliance practices, with the ability to create clear guidelines and ensure consistent application.
  • Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and supporting a respectful, inclusive work environment.
  • Experience with Performance Management processes such as goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and development planning.
  • Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, including federal and state regulations relevant to the hospitality and service industry.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant, or service-based environments is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) is a plus.
