Job Description Job Description Overview Physical Therapy Assistant | Hamlin, TX, United States | Start 06/15/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $1,462–$1,533 per week | Guaranteed hours: 40 | Shift: 5x8 days | Setting: LTC - Nursing Home travel assignment Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,462–$1,533 per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 5x8 days (8-hour shifts) - Start date: 06/15/2026 - Setting: Long-term care / nursing home environment Responsibilities - Provide physical therapy assistant services under the direction of licensed physical therapists, including exercise programs, therapeutic massage, gait and balance training, and other modalities. - Record patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate results to the supervising PT. - Assist with implementing and adjusting treatment plans within approved protocols and clinical guidelines. - Support patient safety during therapy sessions, including positioning, transfers, and mobility activities. - Collaborate with physical therapists and care team to coordinate therapy goals and contribute to discharge planning and outcomes.
