Research Technologist - Electron Microscopy Core

The Electron Microscopy Core is a full-service laboratory providing specialized technical support to physicians, scientists, and researchers both within and outside Mayo Clinic We are seeking motivated technologists with a background in health sciences to join our team.The EM Research Technologist provides electron microscopy technical services in support of clinical diagnostic testing and a diverse range of research laboratories. This role involves working with clinical/patient tissue specimens as well as samples submitted by research investigators. Requires bachelor's degree in biology or other relevant life science. Knowledge of basic histology is preferred. Experience in electron microscopy is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in a laboratory setting and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The candidate should be highly organized, able to multitask, and comfortable working closely with others. The applicant will be expected to acquire technical competency in specific laboratory procedures and consistently follow established laboratory protocols per regulatory requirements.
