Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Incident Respon

Salary: $140,000 - 188,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience in Information Security.
• We prefer experience across the full incident response lifecycle, including stakeholder coordination.
• We prefer at least 2 years of threat hunting experience.
• We value familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and how it supports countermeasure development.
• We prefer experience analyzing, triaging, and escalating security events across systems, applications, networks, authentication, and email.
• We prefer experience turning threat actor techniques into mitigations using tools and methods such as Yara, Sigma, or regular expressions.
• We value the ability to define security requirements and help drive project deliverables.
• We prefer the ability to manage multiple incidents and keep responses moving in a timely manner.
• We prefer experience responding to cloud incidents in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Cloud administration experience is preferred.
• We require 3+ years of cyber incident response experience in a primary incident response role.
• We require participation in an after-hours on-call rotation on a weekly cycle.

• We investigate SIEM and SOAR events as needed and apply malware, network, and endpoint security expertise to contain incidents.
• We lead incidents by coordinating technical investigation, mitigation, and remediation, while partnering with technical and business stakeholders.
• We ensure information security incidents are properly detected, documented, investigated, and resolved.
• We support the creation of countermeasures and mitigations in response to incidents.
• We contribute operational insights to threat hunting and help build defenses against commodity and targeted threats.
• We help track evolving threat actor techniques.
• We provide post-incident recommendations to improve communication, processes, procedures, and mitigation options after high-severity events.
• We support threat analysis, detection recommendations, and colleague mentoring.
• We help translate complex technical issues into clear guidance for broader understanding and faster incident management.

We are hiring for a remote Senior Incident Response Analyst role that may be based in several markets across the United States. You will join our Cyber Incident Response team within the bank and support threat hunting, intelligence, and monitoring functions through content development, threat analysis, detection guidance, and mentoring. We offer a competitive base salary generally between $140,000 and $188,000, with starting pay determined by skills, experience, location, and other lawful factors. Total compensation may also include incentives, bonuses, benefits, and other awards.
