Supply Chain Specialist

What is the position? The Supply Chain Specialist supports procurement and sourcing activities that ensure materials, equipment, and service providers are available to meet operational needs. This role partners with cross-functional teams to manage supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, oversee procurement processes, and help drive reliability, cost efficiency, and operational readiness. What are the responsibilities? As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will: Partner with internal teams to source critical spare parts, materials, and services while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Develop and manage relationships with service vendors, including leading bid processes, evaluating proposals, and negotiating commercial agreements. Oversee Technical Service Agreements by monitoring vendor performance, contract compliance, and issue resolution. Coordinate procurement activities that support preventative maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruptions. Manage purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and monitor supplier deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment. What are the requirements? 2-4 years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or purchasing. Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Knowledge of RFQ/RFP processes, vendor negotiations, and contract administration. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
