Primary Purpose The Tech Helper-Fence (Fence Helper) assists with the unloading and installing fence panels, poles, and other materials at designated work sites. Essential Functions Assist fence driver with conducting daily pre-shift vehicle inspection report Help in conducting daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition Aid Fence team with checking loads to ensure that truck has all material (fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools needed to complete service tickets Assist Fence team with unloading all fence materials and installing fence panels, with appropriate tools, at work site in accordance with predetermined specifications Operate fence vehicle at or to-and-from pre-designated work sites as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Customer Service Teamwork Time Management Communications Decision Making and Problem Solving Language Skills Mathematical Skills Reasoning Ability Physical Requirements Sit while operating equipment (such as a forklift) and stand while servicing products Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls Repeat the same movements See details of objects that are less than a few feet away and also at greater distance Speak clearly so customers can understand Understand the speech of another person Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them Be able to walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling Lift up to 40lbs from your waits to your shoulders Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head Crouch and squat Push 150lbs and pull 150lbs horizontally Benefits Summary All full-time employees working an average of 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the following benefits: Holiday & Paid Time Off (pro-rated for Part-Time employees) Medical/Pharmacy Dental Vision Employer-Paid Short-Term Disability Employer-Paid Employee Basic Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Voluntary Employee Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Voluntary Spousal Life Voluntary Dependent Life Hospital Indemnity, Accident and Critical Illness Commuter/Transit Account Healthcare Flexible Spending Account Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Health Savings Account 401(k) with employer match Employer-Paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Discounts Salary Range $17.40 – $23.50 / hour Pay Transparency Statement At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
