Companion & Personal Caregiver Needed for Elderly Gentleman in Riverside, CA A loving family in Riverside, California is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient part-time live-out elder care companion for a 79-year-old gentleman. This role is centered on companionship, dignity, and meaningful human connection, along with light personal care support. About the Role: The primary focus of this position is to provide warm, consistent companionship and help create a more joyful, engaged daily life. The ideal caregiver will not only assist with personal care needs but will also become a trusted friend and supportive presence. Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Engage in daily social activities such as talking, laughing, and shared experiences
• Assist with personal care needs, including bathing and hygiene support as needed
• Support assisted walking and light mobility, including walks at the park
• Encourage and accompany participation in community activities such as visiting local senior centers and engaging in social outings
• Provide encouragement for gentle physical activity and time outside the home
• Help foster a positive, safe, and emotionally supportive environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Kind, patient, and emotionally attentive
• Experienced in elder care or caregiving (preferred but not required)
• Comfortable with light personal care assistance
• Enjoys conversation, companionship, and building trust
• Reliable, respectful, and consistent in scheduling

Compensation:

• $18.00 per hour
• Part-time, flexible hours
