Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Salary: $164,000 - 220,000 per year Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin
• At least 7 years of professional Android development experience using the Android SDK
• End-to-end experience across the app lifecycle, including shipping apps on Google Play
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture is preferred
• Exposure to AI agentic development is preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of current Android patterns and libraries
• Hands-on experience with both JUnit and Android instrumentation testing
• Strong grasp of design patterns and the ability to recognize when they apply in code
• Experience with asynchronous programming patterns and network communication
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership and dependable follow-through
• Clear, concise, and cohesive communication skills
• A desire to mentor others and help engineers grow

• Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and fellow developers to deliver mobile initiatives from start to finish
• Contribute to technical decisions by balancing scope, complexity, and timing
• Design code that is modular, flexible, and reusable
• Support team development through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and detailed code reviews
• Improve app reliability by writing tests, monitoring issues, reporting bugs, and troubleshooting problems
