About the Position

Job Title: Med Surg/PCU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg and PCU Duration: Short-term Travel Assignment Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of PCU mixed with Med Surg/Tele experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of PCU mixed with Med Surg/Tele experience - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications - Ability to float to other units as required - Experience with EMR systems, preferably Epic Description: This position involves working in a combination of Med Surg and PCU units. Floating to other units, including ED Hold, is required. The home base will be a Med Surg Tele Floor. The unit is a 36-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5 to 6:1. Travelers will be expected to function as core staff and integrate into the unit's culture. All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application. Demographic information must be fully completed in the submission profile for confirmation. A commitment to collaboration and teamwork within the unit is essential.
