divh2Auction Services Associate/h2pUnder general supervision, the Auction Services Associate is responsible for zone maintenance, vehicle preparation, vehicle receiving, inventory scanning, reconciliation, final quality of saleable inventory, vehicle movement (both on and off-lot), asset protection, and providing exceptional service to internal and external customers./ppPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliEnsure daily maintenance and security of inventory and vehicle parking areas/liliMaintain and document the transfer of incoming and outgoing inventory that is processed through the shipping and receiving facility/liliParticipate in auction support/liliDeliver and retrieve vehicles from off-site vendors/liliAssist with training new associates/liliAdhere to standardized work processes/liliMaintain a clean and safe work environment/liliTake customers to and from destinations using shuttle van/liliComplete daily scanning and reconciliation of the vehicle inventory/liliPerforms wholesale reconditioning process/liliAssists in the selling of wholesale inventory using auction systems and simulcast platforms/liliOnce certified, participate in gas reclamation process/liliMonitors transportation of incoming inventory from satellite locations/liliProvides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers at all times/liliAssists in other duties as assigned/li/ulpJob Specifications:/pulliAbility to read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records/liliSuccessfully work with associates of other departments within the geographic location/liliAbility to multitask in a high energy, fast paced working environment/liliStrong inventory management capabilities/liliWillingness to acquire knowledge of wholesale and Inventory operating procedures/liliComplete CarMax provided training/liliHigh School degree or equivalent work experience, preferred/li/ulpWorking Conditions:/pulliWear CarMax clothing (acquired through the company) at all times in the store/liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs (products weighing more than 50 lbs may be handled by more than one person and/or with mechanical assistance)./liliFlexible work hours with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays./liliAbility to work in both an office and outdoor environment; this may include working in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions at times/liliPrimarily working in an outdoor environment; may include working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions/li/ul/div
