Overview Associate, Client Relationship Management with Goldman Sachs Wealth Services, L.P. in Irving, Texas. Provide comprehensive financial planning education and guidance over the phone. Responsibilities Provide educational guidance on Cash Flow & Debt Management, Investment Allocation, Retirement Planning, Income Taxes, Education Funding, Employee Benefits, Risk Management, and Estate Planning. Guide clients on applicable strategies by efficiently communicating concepts. Review clients' financial goals, analyze their situations, and help them devise and implement personalized plans to achieve those goals. Establish trust and rapport, forming long‑term relationships with clients. Commit to consistently improving the client experience by engaging and motivating clients to accomplish their goals and overcome financial challenges. Develop and present financial reports and analyses—regarding retirement planning, education funding, risk management, and federal income tax—using internal tools and software while adhering to industry and company‑wide policies, procedures, and compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. At least two (2) years of experience in a related role. Prior experience breaking down complex financial planning concepts and communicating accurately over the phone to a diverse client base. Knowledge of core financial planning topics (investments, retirement, federal income tax, risk management, cash flow, estate planning, education) and analytical thinking skills to identify risks and opportunities. Experience developing and providing holistic, comprehensive financial plans that protect clients and their assets. Ability to help clients identify, understand, leverage, and maximize available company benefits. Knowledge of eMoney financial planning technology and ability to guide clients to utilize the tool. Skill in gathering pertinent data points to analyze financial situations and building & presenting reports modeling future wealth accumulation and decumulation, cash flow, investment strategies, insurance, and retirement needs. Experience identifying gaps in financial plans and motivating clients to take action.
