Role Overview Therapist / Social Worker role in Psychiatry specialty at Rainier Springs Mental Health Facility. Responsibilities Inpatient therapist to conduct group therapies and complete treatment and discharge planning. Work with adults 18+ with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders. Complete treatment and discharge planning for patients. Patient Profile Common diagnoses include mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Adults 18+ with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders. Unit Specific Information Unit Profile: Behavioral Health floor. Trauma Level: Inpatient Psychiatric. Equipment includes Hybrid HCS and paper charts. No float requirements. Dress code: business casual; hats and hoodies are unacceptable. Qualifications and Requirements Required education: Master’s degree in a social services field. WA state license required. BLS certification required. HWC certification required. Years of experience in specialty: 2 years (negotiable). Preferred Skills Substance use treatment experience. Personality fit: team-oriented, flexible, good writing skills, positive, solution-oriented. Schedule Information Shift: Days. Weekly guaranteed hours: 40. One weekend day per week required.
