Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), 13-week assignment. Block scheduling required with fluctuating weekend coverage. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Acute care physical therapy position at a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Daily census of approximately 180 patients serving adult populations
• Collaborative interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• Epic charting system with comprehensive electronic health record documentation
• 40-hour paid orientation with extensive onboarding support
• Free parking provided at the facility

Requirements:

• Active Oregon Physical Therapist license (may submit with license pending)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Epic or comparable electronic charting system experience required
• Experience with acute care, rehabilitation, orthopedic, and neurological patient populations preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
