Business Development Manager

Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager (New Logo Hunter)

Department: Sales

Reports To: Head of Sales, North America

Location: East Coast, USA preferred - VA, GA, etc.


150 to 200k base + Bonus


Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced and aggressive Senior Business Development Manager to drive net-new logo acquisition for our digital infrastructure services portfolio. This is a pure hunting role focused on identifying, targeting, and closing new enterprise accounts in the North American market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling complex IT infrastructure and managed services, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level IT executives.

Core Objective


The primary objective is new logo acquisition and demand creation . The candidate will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closure, with a heavy emphasis on building a robust pipeline from scratch. Post-demand creation, they will be supported by our pre-sales and solutioning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunting & Prospecting: Aggressively identify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise account opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and market analysis.
  • Demand Creation: Proactively initiate conversations to create demand for our services, articulating a strong value proposition around modernizing legacy infrastructure.
  • Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with C-level executives (e.g., CIO, CTO) and senior IT decision-makers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned territory/vertical to meet and exceed multi-million-dollar annual quotas.
  • Solution Positioning: Leverage deep product knowledge to position our core service offerings effectively.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline in the CRM, providing regular forecasts and performance reports.
Primary Service Portfolio for Sales


The candidate must be proficient in selling the following IT service lines:
  • Cloud & Data Center: Cloud migration, transformation, and managed services (CloudOps, FinOps, DR).
  • Networks: Network modernization, Software-Defined Networking, and NaaS.
  • Digital Workplace: End-user computing and employee experience solutions.
  • Cybersecurity: Managed security services (SOC), endpoint security, and infrastructure security.
  • Automated Operations (AIOps): AI for IT Operations platforms and services.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of business development or sales experience within an IT Services or technology consulting firm.
  • A proven and documented track record of acquiring new logos in the infrastructure or managed services space.
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of selling across these domains: Cloud, Data Center, Networks, and IT Security.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed multi-million-dollar annual sales quotas.
  • Proven experience in consultative selling and leading complex, multi-year deal cycles.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with experience engaging at the C-level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant advanced technical/sales certifications.
  • Existing relationships and a strong network within the Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Defense verticals.
  • Experience selling both IT and OT (Operational Technology) services.
