Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in the radiology department. The position involves working closely with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture precise images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and findings.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid certification as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist, such as ARDMS.
• Have at least 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in adult and pediatric imaging procedures.
• Maintain current CPR and healthcare certifications.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
