Radiology Tech Lead

Our client, a leading health system in Westminster, CO, is seeking a Radiology Tech Lead to oversee daily workflow, develop schedules, and act as a subject matter expert for the unit. This role involves guiding staff towards high performance and adherence to core values.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the workflow in the department including adequate supplies.
• Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals.
• Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).
• Serves as the first point of contact for patient issues.
• Provides feedback for staff evaluations.
• Orients new employees and provides continuing education opportunities for staff.
• Develops and monitors use of protocols.
• Monitors exams for quality and completeness.
• Participates in and provides leadership to the success of the department including patient/physician/employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and stewardship.

Requirements

• One (1) year of related experience.
• Current Registered Technologist, Radiology R.T. (R) (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
• Associate's Degree, strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Three (3) years of imaging experience, strongly preferred.

Compensation

• $30.57 - $51.49/hour
