Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry setting with the ability to float to Intermediate and General units within the medical center
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Participate as part of a Staffing Office Float Pool — floating is a requirement of this role
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment in a General unit setting
• Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification or familiarity
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Comfort and flexibility with float pool assignments across multiple unit types
