Software Developer/Scrum Master

Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Software Developer/Scrum Master position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. The ideal candidate will be a leader and problem solver. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite. Primary Tasks Participating in the design and creation of scalable software Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end Unit testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design Write effective APIs Create use cases and test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software Create security and data protection settings Build features and applications with a mobile-responsive design Write technical documentation Drive the daily execution of an Agile project team Help define, document, and track the completion of Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Bugs Run agile meetings such as daily scrum, retrospectives, and planning Protect the team from over-committing and scope creep during sprint planning. Assist in estimation and sub-task creation Lead and capture feedback and generate action items during sprint retrospective meetings Work as the administrator of the scrum board, ensuring tasks are up to date in the scrum tool and that the selected tools are working well Meet individually with team members and stakeholders as needed. Assist in ironing out team disagreements about processes and work styles Consult team members on how best to work within a scrum team Assist Product Owners with collecting reporting metrics to better provide status Aid the scrum team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process improvement Ability to supervise up to 9 people Basic Qualifications Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered BS degree and 8+ prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience Experience in the following application frameworks (at least 2): React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML Familiarity and knowledge of: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & Nifi Certification requirements: 8140 DCWF work role 802 IT Project Manager, CompTIA Security+ preferred, also acceptable SecurityX/CASP+ or CISSP Applications/Frameworks (at least 2): JIRA, Confluence, Slack Experience or Knowledge in the following areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, software development life cycle management, cross-functional team Preferred Qualifications Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience Active TS/SCI preferred SAFe Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master Pay Range Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
