Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational, assessment, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, behavioral assessments, and academic diagnostics to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers and families to develop, implement, and review IEPs and interventions
- Support students’ mental health and social-emotional development through evidence-based counseling and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Deliver crisis intervention and consult with faculty regarding appropriate academic and behavioral supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance timelines for all required reports
