This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking to support student success and well-being in schools near Hinesville, GA. As an integral team member, you will be instrumental in conducting assessments, facilitating interventions, and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Georgia (or eligibility)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
- Familiarity with IEP meetings, special education services, and relevant federal/state regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Interpret data and provide recommendations to inform educational planning and interventions
- Deliver individual and group counseling services addressing academic and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and monitor intervention plans
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing expert guidance on student needs
- Assist in crisis prevention and response, supporting a positive, safe school climate
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
