Job Title: Senior Cost Analyst
\nPosition: Part Leader (Assistant Manager ~ Manager Level)
\n \nDepartment Roles and Responsibilities
\n- \n
- AR/AP Processing \n
- Audit invoice details against PO data and follow up on discrepancies
\n- Process AR/AP accurately and in a timely manner
\n- \n
- Month-end Closing \n
- Support the monthly and year-end closing process
\n- Reconcile general ledger and expenditure transactions
\n- Prepare accurate accruals during month-end closing
\n- Provide accurate warehouse rent moving plans
\n- Prepare P&L reports and itemized summaries for warehouse expenses
\n- \n
- Cost Analysis \n
- Support the transition from an Open Book Cost Structure to a Close Book
\nCost Structure
\n- Analyze warehouse profitability by site/location
\n- Identify cost-saving opportunities through warehouse P&L analysis
\n- Support cost reduction initiatives based on cost analysis results
\n- \n
- Fixed Asset Processing \n
- Support fixed asset budget planning and update spending on a monthly basis
\n- Register fixed assets and process payments according to the approved budget
\n- \n
- Vendor Registration \n
- Register new vendors, including suppliers and warehouse landlords
\n- \n
- Rework Reimbursement \n
- Collect warehouse rework data and request reimbursement from the
\nresponsible product division
\n- \n
- Remittance Advice \n
- Distribute weekly remittance advice to vendors
\n- Follow up on vendor inquiries
\nIndividual Roles and Responsibilities

- Month-end Closing \n
- Support the manager in monthly and year-end closing processes
\n- Reconcile various general ledger and expenditure transactions
\n- \n
- Audit & AP Processing \n
- Perform intermediate audits of AP/AR processing for warehouse consumable
\nsupply expenses in a timely manner
\n- Process AR/AP accurately as needed
\n- Initiate accrual calculations during month-end closing and adjust them with
\nthe manager
\n- \n
- Purchase Order Follow-up \n
- Manage daily purchase order status and support communication with
\nexternal vendors
\n- Follow up on discrepancies in quantity, unit price, incorrect PO numbers,
\nand related issues
\n \n[Secondary R&Rs]
\n- \n
- Follow up on vendor inquiries regarding payment status \n
- Perform accounting-related tasks, including analysis and simulation, as assigned by managers \n
- Collect invoices from the invoice portal (Pantos IPS) \n
Job Type : Full-time, Regular
\n \nHours : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
\n \nLocation : Englewood Cliffs, NJ
