About This Role The Registered Nurse will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering patient-centered nursing and rehabilitation services. Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Supervise and assign nursing personnel on the unit. Establish nursing care plans utilizing nursing diagnosis in cooperation with the supervisor. Implement plans of care for residents. Prioritize and complete routine assignments within guidelines and schedules. Recognize psychosocial needs and provide emotional support. Maintain accurate records on all patients in the unit. Identify and report potential problems regarding patient care. Maintain adequate inventory of medications, equipment, and supplies. Record, report, and interpret patient responses to treatment. Participate in committees as requested by supervisors. Requirements Education: Completion of an approved RN program. Experience: Long-term care facility experience preferred. Prior work experience with geriatric and disabled populations preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position. CPR certification preferred. IV Certification preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
