Job Description
High School-College level-AP Chemistry Tutors Needed

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Upper Level Science, SAT/ACT Prep Teachers

Comfortable teach high school APChemistry

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Proven ability to engage, motivate, and inspirestudents to learn
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible
Strong problem solving and customer service skills
Strong team player

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Prepares for each instructional session; Gathers andprepares materials as appropriate
Greets students and initiates instruction to personallyengage each student
Manages students, tasks and time to create a balancedand robust instructional session
Evaluates and records the progress of each student ontheir program assignment
Uses praise and encouragement to ensure students areengaged and inspired to learn
Records and tracks tokens earned by students
Manages the conclusion of each instructional sessionand manages the completion of learning log and transition activities;Supports procedures to ensure student safety and well-being
Communicates specific student needs to Center staff
Attends periodic staff meetings and completes ongoingtraining as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Experience:

Chemistry: 2 years (Required)

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Work Location:

Remote is ok (Online classes)
