Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Overtime regularly available. Rotating paid on-call required.

Summary: Responsible for general maintenance and functioning of all agency facilities and equipment (changing locks, snaking toilets, patching walls, changing out ballasts or other lighting fixtures, moving furniture, etc.).

Experience: GED or high school diploma required with two years of experience in maintenance working with knowledge of carpentry and plumbing preferred. Candidate should have experience with tools.

Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to safely climb a ladder. Must possess valid driver's license with insurable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) i.e. no major moving violations within the last 3 years.

Special Working Conditions: Long and unusual hours are sometimes required, a company cellphone must be carried, working outside in the elements may be required, working around with emotionally disturbed consumers is a possibility (Baker Act receiving facility). Rotating on-call.
