Contingent Dental Assistant

Responsibilities Assisting the dentist and hygienist during procedures Assist in the general workflow of the clinic Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Weekly maintenance of dental equipment Taking and developing x-rays Take and record medical and dental records Record patient vital signs Maintaining patient records Performing other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid State of Michigan Driver's License and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications 2+ years in a dental office/environment. Certification in dental assisting preferred. Spanish/English bilingual is a plus, but not required. Position Criteria Predictable, consistent, and reliable attendance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and float between sites when needed (float premium provided) Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures Job Type: Contingent, as needed.
