As a Security Officer Xray Screening Officer in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen people and property, and support access procedures with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while working with an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with posted procedures and reporting guidelines.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, delivery, and shipment activity to help support site operations and security-related awareness.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including screening areas, docks, entrances, and perimeter points, while reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
