Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Entry Monitor in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this driving post, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily site operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification steps, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access within a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access control concerns, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
