Big Fish Rentals is a premier oceanfront property management company in Myrtle Beach, SC, specializing in high-performing vacation rental condos. We help property owners maximize their rental income through expert revenue management, high-touch property care, and direct guest marketing.

To keep pace with our rapid portfolio expansion, we are looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative / Closer to convert qualified property owner leads into long-term management contracts.

Role Overview

This is a high-impact, commission-eligible sales role focused on pitching and closing vacation rental owners. You will take leads through the entire conversion funnel—evaluating property potential, conducting owner presentations, presenting revenue projections, overcoming objections, and securing signed property management agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Conversion & Closing: Pitch Big Fish Rentals’ management services to prospective condo and vacation rental owners, guiding them from initial interest to signed agreement.
• Property Revenue Analyses: Present tailored financial comparisons and earning potential forecasts to demonstrate our value proposition versus competitors or self-management.
• Consultative Selling: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls and meetings to understand owner pain points (maintenance, low occupancy, poor communication) and position our services as the solution.
• Pipeline Management: Track and nurture prospective owner leads through CRM stages, maintaining timely follow-up sequences.
• Local Market Outreach: Build relationships with local real estate agents, brokers, and industry contacts to generate steady referral channels for new listings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong Negotiation & Pitch Skills: Mastery of consultative selling, objection handling, and securing contract commitments smoothly.
• Financial Literacy: Ability to discuss rental yields, commission structures, HOAs, and revenue projections with property investors and owners.
• Self-Motivated & Driven: Focus and follow-up is a key components to this role.
• Local Real Estate Familiarity (Preferred): Knowledge of Myrtle Beach oceanfront condo resorts, vacation rental trends, and local market dynamics is highly desirable.
