About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic and dynamic Senior Vice President for People Development to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the enterprise-wide strategy in total rewards, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational culture, ensuring that these elements are in alignment with the company's mission and business objectives. This role involves overseeing key functions such as compensation and benefits, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement. The SVP will also serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Board on governance, policy, and regulatory compliance, and will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture, driving organizational effectiveness, and enhancing the employee experience through innovative people strategies. Applicants for the Senior Vice President, People Development position at the company should have a minimum of 12-15 years' of progressive HR leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in financial services or a highly regulated environment. Strong expertise in total rewards, workforce strategy, and HR governance is essential. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, and an advanced degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can bring a wealth of experience to the table, particularly in the areas of compensation and benefits, performance management, and succession planning. They should be adept at driving organizational effectiveness and enhancing the employee experience, and be capable of serving as a trusted advisor on a range of HR and compliance issues.
