Dietary Aide Per Diem

Dietary Aide Located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA, this is a per diem position reporting to the Director of Nutritional Services. This position prepares hot food items for patient trayline, cafeteria, doctor's lounge, and catering functions according to production schedule. In absence of director or chef, supervises kitchen staff and acts as lead person. Ensures all duties are completed in a consistent manner, according to all local, state, and federal regulations. Corona Regional Medical Center is a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. Qualifications: Minimum essential experience includes minimum two years food service experience in an acute care facility preferred. Basic to advanced culinary skills; knowledge of modified and therapeutic diets preferred. Food Workers' certificate required within 30 days of start date.
