We’re partnering with an established construction company in East South Bend that is looking to add a Heavy Civil Estimator to its team.
Schedule: *100% onsite then one day at home in a few months*
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with the numbers and understands how projects are actually built in the field — not just someone doing basic takeoffs.
You’ll work on projects involving earthwork, excavation, grading, underground utilities, demolition, trucking, and site development , while independently building estimates using labor, equipment, materials, production rates, subcontractor pricing, and field conditions.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil, excavation, underground utilities, or site development
- Strong understanding of field production, equipment, labor, and job costing
- Ability to read civil plans and specifications independently
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with HeavyBid, Procore, AGTEK, Bluebeam, B2W, or similar estimating tools
Compensation: $85,000–$100,000, depending on experience, plus bonus potential
