Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference this school year by providing expert behavioral support as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. This is an exciting contract opportunity ideal for professionals with a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis who are comfortable working across different campuses as a district float. You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with educators and support staff while positively impacting students’ academic and behavioral growth.
What you’ll need:
- Active BCBA certification
- Experience working in K-12 school settings highly preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and reporting skills
- Flexibility to travel within the district as needed
- Comfortable managing and prioritizing district-wide caseloads
Your daily contributions will include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students across grade levels
- Supporting staff with ongoing training and behavioral strategies to ensure successful learning environments
- Coordinating and communicating regularly with teachers, related service providers, and families
- Progress monitoring and record keeping in accordance with school/district protocols
- Adapting approaches as needed to address the diverse developmental and behavioral needs of K-12 students
- Floating to various school sites within the district to provide on-the-ground support
