Job Description
Title: Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

Schedule:
- Regular schedule: 2x12hr + 2x8hr (Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat; OFF Sun, Tue, Wed)
- Monday: 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM
- Thursday: 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
- Weekend requirement: Every Saturday (Sundays off)

Requirements:
- Certification: Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C)
- Experience: Minimum 6 months as MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic
- EMR: Experience with EPIC
- Other: Travel experience required; candidates must have reliable personal transportation (public transit not acceptable)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical duties including obtaining vital signs and rooming patients
- Assist with procedures and administer medications
- Conduct point-of-care testing and specimen collection
- Prepare and stock exam rooms
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety procedures

Compliance / Notes:
- Submission/compliance items required prior to start: current state license and copies of all required/certifications
- Candidate must be willing to consider permanent hire if offered
