Program Assistant

General Description The Program Assistant communicates with organizational components, family and community representatives in a consistent manner. Reports directly to the Area Director and works cooperatively with the Program Director. Education Requirements High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum one year of experience in the field. Valid NC driver’s license. Must be at least 18 years of age. Clearance Requirements Clear healthcare registry and background check. Successful pre‑employment drug screening. Hours Monday‑Friday, Part‑time: 15 hours per week. Responsibilities File all documentation. Make new charts when an intake is completed. Close out charts when the participant’s case closes. Print and upload monthly notes. Review charts monthly and send needed documents to Employment Specialists and Area Directors. Attend weekly staff meetings. Greet people served and notify Employment Specialist and/or Area Director of their arrival. Shred paperwork as needed. Perform light cleaning duties. Answer phone and direct calls accordingly. Send charts to QA/QI monthly as requested. Read and initial all memos and notices. Attend all required in‑service training courses. Always maintain confidentiality. Responsible for knowing and adhering to all Federal, State, City, and Cape Fear Group Homes, Inc. procedures, directives, and regulations.
