Staff Accountant

About the PositionWasatch Equity Partners is seeking a motivated, analytical, and resourceful Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with the ambition and independent thinking necessary to take on increasingly complex responsibilities.Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant accounting experience.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Familiarity with journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new accounting systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Qualifications Preferred2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.Experience in public accounting, multi-entity accounting, or outsourced accounting services.Familiarity with financial statement preparation and annual audits.Experience working with multiple businesses or accounting systems.We value demonstrated ability, initiative, and growth potential.
