Yes Job Description Summary Performs a variety of tasks, primarily in Custodial/Janitorial Services, related to maintaining the University’s facilities. Essential Duties Sweeps and mops rooms and hallways; dusts and performs general cleaning of rooms; cleans windows Vacuum and shampoo carpets; may strip and wax floors; clean and sanitize restrooms Picks up trash, debris and/or litter from University buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles May assist with events Assists with maintaining safe indoor/outdoor surfaces including during inclement weather May pick up and/or deliver equipment and supplies May perform cleaning/washing duties in dining halls May assist with other related campus needs as assigned Minimum Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or GED No experience required May require driver's license This position requires the ability to successfully pass a Post-Offer Pre-Employment (POPES) physical Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Knowledge of the use of cleaning equipment/materials Ability to understand and follow directions Additional Position Information (if Applicable) None Additional Information A criminal background check is required.
