Looking for a kitchen where your work is appreciated and your schedule is more predictable?

Homestead Village Alabama, part of Community Senior Life, is seeking a dependable Cook to join our Assisted and Independent Living community. Here, you'll prepare delicious, nutritious meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to residents who truly appreciate what you do every day.

Unlike many restaurant positions, you'll enjoy the opportunity to build relationships with the people you serve while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

Prepare fresh, high-quality meals according to planned menus
Ensure food is prepared safely and served with pride
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Work with the culinary team to meet special dietary needs
Assist with inventory and proper food storage

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment
Takes pride in preparing quality meals
Is dependable and enjoys working as part of a team
Understands the importance of cleanliness and food safety
Can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in senior living, healthcare, or institutional dining
Food Safety Certification
Knowledge of therapeutic or modified diets
