Experience with heart and lung transplants is mandatory. Level 2 experience is required while Level 1 experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience with trauma cases. BLS certification is essential. Interested applicants must submit a skills checklist. Please note that local candidates within the specified mileage radius will not be accepted. This role demands expertise in various surgical procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafting, and robotic surgeries. Candidates should be familiar with surgical protocols, sterilization procedures, and patient care techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations is crucial. Additional duties may include maintaining surgical equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The daily census at the facility ranges from 75 to 100 patients. The role includes call requirements and potential floating to affiliate locations. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment and demonstrate a commitment to patient care excellence.
