Xanitos is hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Trash Tech for 1st Shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI.

• 1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Pay Rate: $14.84
• Includes every other weekend/holiday

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Trash Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Pickup and removal of all trash and debris on a daily basis
  Properly segregate recyclables and materials eligible for composting
  Perform cleanup in assigned areas as necessary
  Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
  Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials
  Communicate any issues to management
  Follow all standards of sanitation and infection control
  Properly package and store trash for disposal
  Monitor and control area dust level
  Perform related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
