Eastern Carver County Schools' Building and Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all students, staff and visitors. Our team provides daily support to maintain building systems and structures, service the grounds, provide custodial services, oversee construction and renovation projects, maintain compliance with building and fire codes, safety and environmental regulations, oversee security and fire alarm systems in all buildings.Position Start Date: ASAPDays/Hours: Monday - Friday; 2:00pm - 10:30pmSalary: $23.25/hr. + $0.40/hr. shift differentialResponsible To: Director of Buildings & GroundsPosition Purpose: Under general supervision, perform cleaning tasks and operation of various types of cleaning equipment to care for and maintain assigned buildings and related facilities.Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks:See attachment.Qualifications/Physical Requirements:Lift 70 lbs waist height occasionallyLift 50 lbs to chest high regularlyExtended walkingAbility to work with cleaning chemicalsMust be in good general healthPrevious experience in cleaning and building maintenanceCompensation and Yearly Duration of Employment: This position is posted as a full-time (40 hrs/week), twelve (12) month position. In addition, the pay includes additional compensation for each level of boilers license and other applicable licenses when licenses are obtained. Eligible for benefits as negotiated with Union Local 70 and District 112 plus enrollment in Minnesota's largest retirement pension!
