Job Title Adjunct Assistant/Associate/Professor (Open Rank): Master's Program - Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) – EDUC 508 Location Los Angeles, CA Position Overview The Marriage and Family Therapy program seeks an instructor for the course 'The Counseling Process' for the Summer 2026 semester. The course covers theoretical foundations, models, values, and assumptions underlying psychological counseling, cross‑cultural perspectives, ethical and legal considerations. Responsibilities Teach the course 'The Counseling Process' for the Summer 2026 semester. Develop and deliver course materials, lectures, and assessments. Engage students in classroom discussions and practical exercises. Maintain accuracy of course content and keep up to date with emerging research in counseling theory. Fulfill adjunct faculty expectations: teach one class each semester (summer, fall, spring) if chosen. Qualifications Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in teaching or training in counseling theory and practice. Strong communication and organizational skills. Compensation Base salary range: $7,457 - $9,587 per course.
