Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in either Culver City or Manhattan Beach. The ideal candidate will have strong venipuncture skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to providing a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures on patients of all ages.
- Verify patient information and accurately label specimens.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and transportation.
- Follow established safety, infection control, and quality assurance procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Provide compassionate and professional service to patients and healthcare staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of blood collection procedures and specimen handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records preferred.
