As a Security Officer Full Time Route Verification in Monee, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will use communication skills and computer or tablet tools to document security-related activities while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
