Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role spans the upcoming academic year, from late July through May, and offers the chance to deliver impactful therapy services in an educational environment.

As a vital member of the team, you’ll provide skilled occupational therapy support, collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to help students achieve their developmental and educational goals. The exact caseload and schedule details will be discussed during the interview to ensure the best fit for your expertise and interests.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist license required
• Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience with school-aged children or school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Collaborative approach with educators, support staff, and families
• Skill in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted OT interventions to meet students’ IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, contribute to IEP meetings, and document progress
• Support sensory, fine motor, and functional skills within the school context
• Offer consultative services to teachers and families for optimal student success
• Adapt activities and environments to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain clear and timely records in accordance with school protocols
