Endoscopy Technician 2

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Tech 2 to join the team. This role will be Full-Time 40 hours Per Week 5:30AM to 2:30PM or 6:30AM to 3:30PM with on-call running 24 hours on weekends. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the Endo tech. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anatomy and is able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of both basic and advanced endoscopic procedures. Expedites the procedure by anticipating the needs of the endoscopist. Demonstrates collaboration with other team members in planning/giving patient care; Actively shares knowledge with staff regarding devices/techniques and procedures. May perform additional duties as assigned. Additional Requirements Certification – Basic Life Support from AHA UPON START Experience – 1 year Endoscopy Technician experience. Additional Note: Leader recommendation for promotion from Endoscopy Technician 1 Education – High School diploma or equivalent.
