The Department of Anesthesia is seeking a Clinical Trials Research Assistant to support research activities in the Anesthesia Innovative Research Core (AIR Core). This position assists investigators and research teams with the coordination and implementation of clinical research studies while ensuring compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and departmental procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct research activities in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with protocol development and routine research procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule study participants for research visits and follow-up activities.
• Screen, recruit, consent, and enroll participants in clinical research studies.
• Collect, enter, track, and maintain research data and study records.
• Set up, maintain, and operate research materials and equipment.
• Assist with IRB submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Support quality assurance efforts to ensure the integrity and accuracy of research data.
• Monitor compliance with safety, regulatory, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a temporary position working up to 20 hours per week at a rate of $11.00 per hour. The position is expected to begin immediately.

Candidates should have strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Experience working with clinical, scientific, or research data is required. Experience with transcriptomic, proteomic, bioinformatics, data science, or other advanced data analysis techniques is preferred.

A criminal background check will be required prior to employment.
